Early into our 5 day stay my partner developed a very irritated throat. We eliminated the possibility of COVID by taking a rapid test. Each night the burning and irritation became worse. The irritation seemed to get better when we were away and worse when we were there sleeping at night. I also developed an irritated throat soon after. I contacted Nick, the host about this issue concerned that there are dust mites or mold in the unit we were staying in because my partner has a know allergy to both. Nick moved us to another unit in the building for the last night. With no other symptoms but respiratory irritation, I know there is something in that unit#3 that we stayed in. we I brought this to the hosts attention their responses seemed very robotic and sterile. I asked if it was a real person or AI I was speaking with and he confirmed it was a person, Nick. He said yes, I heard you complain about the apartment. at that point I told him I needed to speak about this another time because I was sick and needed to sleep. When we spoke again, I told him that if I was complaining I would have asked for compensation for the COVID tests, and pain relievers, the discomfort of my partner having to power through their birthday trip due to a known allergen being triggered.. for feeling like total shit still 5 days later. I was simply trying to inform you that something in that unit is causing bad respiratory irritation issues that are still persisting and you should be aware of that and look into it. He said I'm sorry for your experience and I will look into it. That's all. Not cool and I definitely wouldn't suggest staying here. My partner still can't breathe properly. I doubt they looked into the issue.

I like how big the bedroom and living room were,I like how friendly Nick was to me and greeted me through a message and through my stay made sure got back to my messages right away and when I told him about a problem rather it was small or big he said he will get right on it

Bath tube needed to be cleaned better,needed new shower liner,and couches are falling apart and didn’t like that I seen a cockroach this morning of me ending my trip but like he said it maybe due to weather change or I believe it could’ve came from another house the way the houses are so close together in Pittsburgh because the other days I did not see anything and the house overall was clean

the amount of amenities that it came with; full bathroom, full beds, kitchen

the shower would sputter at times

Easy access to Childrens Hospital. Clean. Good amenities

Steep flights of stairs Lack of maintenance of water pipes that burst in the cold with no water for a whole day.

Very spacious apartment
