Location was great property could do with some TLC

The couches in both lounges were comfortable. The kitchen area was a good space but disappointing that the dining table only had 8 chairs when we were a group of 10. The utility was a good area to leave boots and coats.

Coffee machine did not work. Washing up liquid bottle was left but nothing in it. The heating was not on when we arrived so the whole house was freezing. The cleanliness was not the best and the walls and paintwork definitely need looking at. The stairs up to the first floor are exceptionally loud and creaky- definitely need looking at.

Lovely property, a 10 minute walk to the centre of Whitby, the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery/glasses etc, great open plan living area for socialising.

The group felt the property wasn’t overly clean - there was crumbs on the bar stools, old food was found behind a bedside table, lots of mould in the en suite & the carpets need a good hoover & clean.

Location is excellent for walking access to the old town, pubs restaurants & shops. The decor & furnishings are lovely & modern. It was roomy & comfortable for our party of 8 friends, some room sharing. The beds were really comfortable . The kitchen is well stocked to self cater if required. The house was mostly nice and clean. We had a wonderful weekend break & will book a return visit in the future.

The standard of house keeping needs a bit of an improvement. Some of the towels were worn out, ripped & holed. Stains were seen on some of the bedding. It was noticed that the carpets could have been vacuumed better, stray hairs & bits were found in some of the bedrooms. The shower in the en-suite room needs a good old bleach on the door runner as a seasons load of black mould is there. The ‘master suite’ is strange with an open bathroom & toilet in the room. It really needs a wall & door for the toilet. There wasn’t a mirror in this room either. A bit more storage in the beds rooms would be better, along with hooks on the doors for dressing gowns etc. more wine glasses. Think there was only 2, the rest being bubbly glasses.

The property was extremely spacious, very well set out and a perfect set up for spending a weekend with friends. Good quality towels and toilet roll provided. Fantastic location, excellent value for money. Had a brilliant weekend. Thank you.

Would struggle to find a negative.

Standard of furnishings was outstanding, clean and comfortable.
