Cosy room 10 min from beach

I was expecting just a bedroom with separate a bathroom, kitchen and lounge shared with other guests. It turned out to be a self contained apartment which was the home of the landlord. I was fortunate in that the landlord was away and had told me I had the entire apartment to myself (apart from his bedroom obviously). So rather than being confined to my bedroom, I was free to make use of the hallway, bathroom, kitchen, lounge and balcony. Great for me because I tend to become restless at night and potter around all night whilst looking at my phone and half watching tv and then I'll start excersing with push ups and sits ups at 3 or 4 in the morning. None of that would have been possible if I was sharing the apartment with another guest or the landlord. I would have quietly confined myself to my bedroom most of the time. So for me the place was perfect, but I know guests sometimes have to share and I'm not quite sure how I would feel about sharing. Secluded parking with cctv. Frequent busses and a fast taxi service to the seafront. A corner shop a few steps away and a mini mart just a few minutes walk up the road. Good message communication with friendly helpful landlord.

Tv was a large high quality smart tv but I couldn't find a channel with a good signal. I stuck with the 'Crime channel' but even this occasionally froze. Perhaps this was just me failing to find a channel with a good reception. 20 minute walk to the main seafront near the Volks and 25 minutes back up a steep hill.

Was very good and nice double room come in and out as like the person who lives there is very welcoming and nice

No lock on bedroom door I would advice maybe a lock on door and no tv in room maybe to put little tv in room

Accommodation was a double bedroom on the 2nd floor. Very clean. Welcoming. Owner was also on premises but got on with his own bits. Everything very clean. Linen, towels supplied. Also tea coffee and milk. Would go back again. Good transport links to town if you didn't want to walk. Wasn't that far to walk. Lots of places to eat, and pubs if that's what you like 👍
