"We felt like we were in the heart of the medina, while enjoying a quiet, safe stay."

The location was excellent - down a quiet alley, close to a medina entrance, but near the action. Breakfast was a delicious, traditional Moroccan fair. The room was decorated beautifully and the shower opening was shaped like a minaret. The staff went above and beyond. We left a pair of prescription sunglasses in the room when we checked out. We sent the staff the address of our next riad and they shipped my glasses to Fes.

The small padlock on the door might be a turnoff for some visitors, though the outside door to the riad was always locked and there was a safe in the room
