Skyline Haven - Entire Apartment - Free Parking, Espresso, Netflix - 15m to CBD, Stadium, Ferry

Spacious, comfortable apartment, with all necessary amenities for shorter and longer stays. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and private parking space if needed. Also, the host, Jane, is very attentive and communicative and makes sure that everything is perfect throughout the whole stay. Will gladly stay again if ever in Wellington.

It's a lovely property, nestling in a gulley with direct access (with a 10 minute brisk walk) to the top of the Skyline Walkway with its fantastic views over Wellington. The flat had everything I needed for a 3 week stay and is conveniently located just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Karori, a lovely Wellington suburb. It's a great place to stay if you like the outdoors too, as you can walk from the flat to virtually anywhere that takes your fancy, just an hour and you can be in the city or the wilds of the hills. Bus services to the centre of the city are fast and frequent and ridiculously cheap if you get yourself a Snapper card. Jane, the host, is the best you'll find in this business, the few minor issues I had were sorted within minutes - superb customer service.

You get a bit of noise bleed from the flat upstairs (operated by the same host) but this is generally not that intrusive.

We loved the space - very roomy living area, full kitchen and large bedroom. Great view across to the bush and hills but still only walking distance to Karori shops. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything you could need. Great to have a dining table and plenty of seating.

The steps up to the apartment were very narrow with the overgrown garden basically reducing the width by half - made it difficult carrying luggage up without loosing your footing. We would suggest widening the steps, getting the garden under control and installing a handrail. A general garden tidy up around the entrance would really enhance the apartment. The TV was a bit of a mission but the host was very helpful on text to sort it out. The sliding door into the bathroom wasn't working and needs attention as does the bathroom window.

A wonderful one-bedroom apartment that had all of the necessary kitchen equipment as more - a coffee machine and air fryer! It was easy to collect to the keys from the lock box and return them as well. The sofa bed was very comfortable and warm, as well as the bed. Excellent to have air con/heat pump in both the bedroom and the main part of the apartment. The bathroom was very clean and included shower gel and shampoo/conditioner. While we didn't need the washing machine, it was great to have a vaccum cleaner handy as well.
