Gozzi House - Comoda casa - FREE PARKING - Easy to Venice!

Location is good, apartment is close to the market and also to the train station.

Apartment is old, it needs cleaning. Some of the bathroom appliances are dirty and there are bugs in the apartment (mosquito, spiders and some bigger bugs)

Worst expirience ever. Do not recommend to no one!

In a so-called "hotel" (in fact, in a multi apartment building (3 apartments)), we were "lucky" to get 4 nights in a ground-floor apartment (Im sure, that on other 2 floors someone lives). Only when we opened the apartment door, we encounter not the nice view seen in the booking.com photos, but the terrible smell of an old apartment, reminiscent of 50-year-old walls, furniture, ceilings and floors, also closed blinds and almost 30 C hot. Also, the multi apartment building itself is sandwiched between other apartment buildings, where many antisocial people live, and because of which you neither feel safe yourself nor are you sure that your car is safe (I dont wanna think what is going on at late night time, when you want to go out for a walk). The gate to the mini yard does not close, and the yard itself is abandoned, there is a lot of garbage in it. The door to the apartment building - it seems that you push it, and it will just open. The apartment has blinds, but they are not for the sun, but they for the security reasons! The windows do not close. The air conditioner (very small) is only in one of the bedrooms (the farthest in the flat and not passable), which means that it could be cool only in it, and everywhere else in the flat it will 29C heat. So I will never recommend this place to anyone. Terrible experience. We were shocked. We immediately booked another place to stay and didn't stay there for a second. It just doesn't feel safe there! By the way, the administration of the "hotel" intensially didnt answer about the cancelation of the booking and waited for the day of the check out to say just we are sorry. So communication and service was terrible.

I had wanderful experience from start to finish.The location was ideal-close to Venice.Apartment was clean,cozy,throughtfully designed-everything felt both stylish and comfortable.

There were no instructions how to use the heating. Hosts were quick to answer messages when they asked me to pay money but when I asked where is the aircon remote on the check in day I had no answer so had no remote

Gozzi house has a great location very near to bus station and bus 4L which drives you to Venice in 10 minutes. Near the apartment are also Spar and Pan supermarkets, so you can be relaxed for your supplies, almost across the street. Bonus for this property is its own car parking lot in the yard. Park your car and forget about it during your stay. Recommendations by host about surroundings played role as well, for super ice cream and other. One additional "perk" we were surprised about, was gramophone in apartment. We enjoyed all LPs from the shelf. All questions we have, our host answered and helped us in planning our Venice visit.

Not much to like

The building where the apartment is looks like abandoned. Very difficult to open the gate to park, the lock is broken. Inside, the smell is like very old house, air conditioning only in one room, toilet flush broken. The most shocking fact is the presence of tens of bugs walking in the bathroom walks, floor, bath tube. We arrived late so no other option than to spend one night there and waiting the morning to look for another accommodation. Because of that, our 2 days Venice trip was compromised.
