The location is really good. The whole house is spacious tidy and clean.

You have to go down to the basement to do laundry and basement is not tidy.

Great apartment for our family group. Nice sized bedrooms and great kitchen/living area. AC worked great. Very nice to have OJ and milk waiting for us in the fridge :) Easy to get to from Interstate 90. Neighborhood looked to be in transition to more upscale. Good location to get to Cambridge/Harvard area.

Especially if someone is from a rural area, the lack of parking dedicated to the apartment on the actual street where the apartment is feels very sketchy. After a 15 minute or so hunt we luckily were able to get a spot around the corner very close to the apartment, and simply left it there for our stay, mostly taking Ubers.

The house was charming and had plenty of supplies in case we needed it and a perfect amount of space for our group. Entrance was a door code lock which was easy to use.

The beds were a little too firm for our taste and it was a little further out from downtown Boston than we would have liked.

On booking, I was told I had to pay a separate security deposit using a system that does not exist in the United Kingdom. This was a secure deposit system - the alternative suggested was PayPal which I do not use. Also, this is a very risky way of holding a deposit for someone coming from another country. Fortunately the owner was reasonable and let us in without this deposit. If properties require deposits, this should be through a central holding or Booking.Com. Also there were only three mugs and there were five people staying.
