2 Bed Maisonette with Sofa Bed - Ideal for Groups #26C

Comfortable and clean but very hot with no fans. As we had a baby which they knew about we thought they would provide fans in a heatwave and a top floor/ loft flat. Otherwise great.

The flat is in a good location - close to the outlet shopping and historical boats and just a few minutes walk from the beach. Parking (around the corner on the next street) was a bonus - easy, with plenty of street places (even arriving late on a Friday night and then getting a space again on the Saturday). Very clean and tidy flat and well equipped kitchen. Also plenty of extra bedding and pillows for the sofa bed. Excellent value for money when in a group.

Only three small points (I'm being picky) 1.Could have done with more lighting in the living area (lamps for reading would have been good). 2.Communication was good, although was through a different guest portal rather than through messaging and booking.com which was a bit difficult when in area without internet connection and needing to give info to another member of family- door code is given through this at 1pm on day. 3.Key lockbox not the easiest to get into - took a few attempts to open!

Location is great. Apartment is very nice

Location to Hovercraft to Isle of Wight, pubs. Parking permit arranged by host which made parking for 3 days a breeze. Quirky little apartment including very narrow staircase up to bedrooms which meant we left suitcases in the lounge .

2nd bedroom had a toilet which took a bit to flush sometimes and the basin was tiny , but at least we had a 2nd toilet.

Clean accommodation and what we needed for our two day stay.

The little bar fridge had no freezer for ice, etc. There was no wine bottle opener, so I had to use the old-fashioned method of pushing the cork into the wine bottle. The towel rail was coming out the wall so needed to hang towels on door hooks.

It was as Quirky!
