2 Bed Maisonette with Sofa Bed - Ideal for Groups #26C

Perfect location for our stay , all kitchen and bathroom equipment was very extensive. Very clean and comfortable beds and even though in a block , Very quiet .

Centrally located to walk to Old Portsmouth and Southsea

Too many stairs. Walking through kitchen to reach the bathroom. Ladies heels found under the settee ( not ours). Too warm. Couldn't turn off heat completely

The only slight issue was the parking. It is on a different street from the property and we had done a fair bit of shopping so it took 2-3 trips to get everything out of the car. There is parking on the street outside itself, and the prices are identical so I don't know why parking is not offered directly outside?

The apartment was on the top floor, very clean and spacious. Easy to access with excellent communication with the owner. The heating was easy to manage with the central thermostat. Shower was powerful.

The living room/dining room was a little dark without the main light turned on. We took the bedside lamps from the bedrooms in the evening. Perhaps a mirror on the dressing table, but there are floor length mirrors on the walls.

Stairway to upper floor was narrow, but not an issue for us.

The property was perfect for the both of us; one able to "work from home", whilst the other attending meetings in the local area. Close to everything needed, with a great selection of bars and restaurants nearby. The owners communicated quickly and clearly and we're very helpful in arranging the permit for the on-street parking. The property had everything needed to live there, from washing facilities to kitchen utensils.

The only downside, and it is very minor, the dining area could have done with a table lamp nearby as the central ceiling light was not that bright. As I said....very minor!
