Kempies-Cozy house on the NC500

Friendly host. Bonus trip round haunted house next door. Rustic, original decor

The area around is just amazing. The house looks a bit grim on the outside but is much better indoors. It is cosy and comfortable and surprisingly spacious. The place is a part of the history of the area. I'm glad we chose it to stay.

Two of the doors stick on the floor. (I'd guess the tiles on the floor are new). Outside the house across the way is untidy but it doesn't matter.

It was very clean, comfy and just what we needed after a long ride on motorbikes to chill and relax. The owner was very welcoming

First impressions /view upon arrival although once inside and settled in it wasn’t an issue.

Plenty of room for a family

To me this property had a smell of a dog, which makes sense as digs are allowed. As a dog owner I didn’t mind to much however an air freshener would have made the place feel less stuffy.

Very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there .
