3-bed cottage in Sway, New Forest (5 min walk from Sway Train Station)

Lovely cottage in a great location. Parking is a little stressful as very narrow entry to parking space. Cottage has everything you could possibly need. Comfy beds and very clean

Great location, property was nice and clean. Well equipped. No issues with finding property, gaining access, good comms with owner etc.

We are a family of 5, 2 adults, two 12 year old boys and a 9 year old. We searched Booking.com for a property that would sleep a family of five. This property came up and it was in the right location at the right price, so we booked it. However, the problem is the second bedroom has a tiny double bed, our 12-year-olds shared this bed and said it was too small and they had a terrible night sleep, I would say it’s more of a large single than a small double. This would be even more of a problem for two adults. The listing isn’t specific and just states this sleeps up to 5, although I’m not sure apart from two very young children, who would fit in that second “double’ bed. In addition the master bedroom has a window that faces the main road, this is not necessarily a problem, however on Monday morning at 7am, a large refrigerated lorry came delivering fresh food to the Nisa supermarket which is next door. This woke us instantly. The same thing happened on Tuesday morning when the dustmen come around 7am and collected the rubbish. There is a double glazed window on that bedroom, however it doesn’t have very good sound isolation properties and so we were woken much earlier than was ideal on two of our mornings here. We had a good stay, lots good about the house, but the very small double/large single bed and the early morning street noise were not ideal.

Cosy, well equipped and great location. Station very near. Great pub next door.

Beautiful Property placed in very convenient location

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and welcoming😁

The only problem was parking at rear where the manhole covers were quite raised and my daughter scraped her car going over them so we parked on the road after, not a problem really.

Great location for new forest and trains to Brockenhurst. Comfortable bed, hot shower and next door to a nice pub and shops. We found the enclosed garden with external PowerPoints great for storing and charging the electric bikes we hired from Brockenhurst Cyclexperience. Hosts were great and there was no rush to leave with the midday checkout.

TV was a bit fiddly to use to get live television
