Antique1242 British Bed & Breakfast

The owner, Helen, was so fun! She is very British and the decor reflects her love of all things England. We’ve stayed at a lot of B and Bs and Helen wins as our favorite hostess! Loved the setting, the comfy beds, the delicious breakfast, the thoughtful touches such as mints on our bed, the list could go on. We didn’t meet Helen’s husband but his amazing art is all over the house. Such a lovely home with so many interesting displays and collections.

There was nothing to dislike

Absolutely wonderful! From the moment you arrive you feel like you're at home. Helen makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable. The rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, as is the large lounge and dining area. Helen's breakfasts are SO good, every morning was a surprise and I don't think I ever left anything on my plate! This was my second stay and honestly I won't consider staying anywhere else when I visit the area now. It's truly a wonderful experience.

Best breakfast experience I've ever had. The couple who run this establishment are lovely people and brilliant artists.

The experience made my trip! I loved the house, my room was so comfortable. Talking with the owner was like talking to an old friend. It felt like I was away on holiday at my frown’s home.
