It was the best B&B experience ever - and I have seen quite a few B&Bs in US and Canada! I felt a warm embrace as soon as we (myself and my unruly adolescent puppy tervuren Gibson) stepped in! The house itself is very charming, decorated in the cozy English cottage style, and invoking a sense of warmth and comfort. We have stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed delightful breakfasts twice - I skipped the lunch afterwards! And our hosts even provided that original British HP sauce! The room itself was just perfect - clean, comfortable, with all the amenities you would ever need. It had an electrical fireplace! Because of the cold winter weather, our hosts even provided an additional electrical space heater! I did not use it because the regular heat was more than enough for comfortable night sleep. Kerug coffemaker and selection of teas also have been provided. There was quite a selection of books in the room - fiction, history (love that "History of England" and "Making of a King: Charles III and the Modern Monarchy"), all very well selected. Should I mention a complimentary bottle of the red wine and snacks left in the small refrigerator in the room? The stay was perfect - and it brought back a warm memories when we have visited England with our kids a while ago. So happy that decided to cancel hotel reservation to stay at this beautiful place instead!

Historic home along the main street. Wonderful conversation with host Helen. Breakfast was yummy and the fireplace warm and cozy.

Helen was an excellent host. Everything was well kept and very cozy. We stayed over Christmas and it was nicely decorated too. We had our dog with us and they were very accommodating to pets.

Nothing. Everything was excellent. I would stay there again in a heart beat.
