"It’s worth the experience and would recommend."

It was really comfortable to be around, to sleep, cook, shower and all. It took us some time to get inside, there was a little miscommunication and our check-in time got a little postponed to a later time, but other than that we had a good time and were assisted very gracefully by the host.

"Do not stay here!"

Shower water pressure.

Not sure where to start. Was asked a few days prior to arriving to pay city tax via an odd insecure link. I'd originally booked the apartment for two because it was possible my friend would travel with me but that changed and so I explained that I only needed to pay for one person. They kept insisting I complete the dodgy form for two by putting in fake details. I didn't want to do that. In fact, the form wouldn't allow it. I kept explaining this, yet the person just kept insisting I complete the form. City tax is 2 euro per person per night, but these people were trying to charge an additional amount, which they would not explain. I touched down in Lisbon with this discourse still going on and on and received a message saying I needed to contact Booking.com to sort it out and stopped responding to me. Stressful after a delayed and uncomfortable flight. I'd been told someone would be there to let me leave my bag before check-in. No contact and no one there, so I called them. They'd disconnected the phone. I spent the next two and a half hours making very confused international calls to Booking.com to try and sort it out. They could not reach the owner either. Eventually Booking.com tried to put me in alternative accommodation. Unfortunately, it was terrible, so I declined it. More calls and holding. Then eventually a Booking.com advisor insisted I use an insecure link to put in fake details, pay city tax for two people along with the additional unexplained charge. It was raining. My bags were heavy and I was exhausted. I paid and a further insecure payment link for a security deposit was sent automatically, which I also paid. The whole experience just felt like I a scam. I'm not convinced I'll receive my deposit back. All this was before I'd actually got into the property. Finally, I was able to get the code to allow me to enter. I opened the door and the smell was overwhelming.

Shower was good!

The unit is really worn out! Walls dirty, pictures on the wall sagging, out of the 3 heaters 2 were old and didn’t work, missing bed sheets. After a few days they brought us new heater and missing bed sheets. Also water heater is small and after 2 people showered water would be cold.

A clean big bathroom

1. Acc to despcription, someone should give me the keys upon arrival. In my case I was informed I should make an online checkin (payment of deposit via an sms link) and then I get the code to the apparment. This means the information on booking was false. 2. The living rooms has no windows. You cannot ventilate the room. The only windows you have in the door to the appartment which means when you open them, anyone from the street can look inside and throw something into your appratment, eg. ciaggarets, bear cans or whatever else. 3. The cofffee machine is not working. The owner of the flat informs you, they can fix it after you leave the appartment or on the eveing before you leave... no comment on a landlord.

Too much noise from the streets, no enough windows. Don’t now how to operate coffe machine.

"Overall good value for price, cozy stay!"

Loved the cozy apartment vibe, the facilities were intact and our family could feel at home.

There were some appliances not working to expectations (eg: coffee machine), and sometimes, the bathroom supplied dirty water which was a bit annoying.

"We had an enjoyable stay in Lisbon and felt we were living in a real neighbourhood."

The double bedroom was v comfortable, and the bathroom was good-great shower. Very clean. Maria on the messaging was very good.

The lack of air/ventilation. There was only one window for air. The bathroom xpelair didn’t seem to be working so environment very stuffy after 4 showers in the morning. We used to open the front door (opens on to street) to get fresh air. Not enough hanging up places. It was probably smaller than I expected. I found Jasmine the person who checked us in a bit pushy with her texts about our arrival time. It would be useful to have had details like buses than served the very steep roads or that taxis were good value, nearest supermarket etc-the every day practical things.
