Clean, tidy, comfy bed & well laid out.

The apartment was large and airy. Very comfortable. The position was excellent about 2 mins walk from a lovely safe beach with loads of interesting bars and shops. It was 1 min walk from a taxi rank and just a short taxi ride from the airport. (£18).

You had to contact a number provided through Booking.Com as there was no reception at the apartment. Once contacted someone immediately came to let us in and escort us to the room so fine really The apartments were called Appartimentos TAMA This wasn't all that clear from the booking information which gave the impression the block was called El Medano Centro. The Tama block is in the centre of El Medamo.

The location is central and good, as stated, close to the beach. The apartment is well equipped and furnished.

Communication was poor, I never learnt or heard my host's name. A "friend" of the owner met us with the keys, helped us with luggage and left. No instructions on how to operate the fans, they need a light on we learnt, hob, TV or coffee pot etc. The shower room was small but ok except the toilet 2/3cms from the sink unit, unsuitable for a larger than normal person, such as me! Most unsuitable! Housekeeping instructions we found by accident as we were leaving. The bedroom has a fan, a barred window and no ventilation. The shower room has no working steam extraction unit, no window and no ventilation. We stayed for 10days, 9 nights, one set of very sweaty sheets, synthetic pillows, 2 hand and 2 small thin bath towels were all that was available. A little more generosity and honesty plus communications with a named person who can find time to meet the paying guestswould be good going forward.

We recently stayed at this apartment and had a pleasant experience overall, giving it a solid 7-8 out of 10. The location is excellent, the kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, which made meal preparation very easy. The neighborhood was also peaceful, ensuring a quiet and restful stay.

The lift in the block sometimes worked and sometimes not, which was a nuisance, I had to go downstairs, flat on the 4th floor There is a neighbour next to the flat who does not respect the curfew, despite the 24:00 hour he behaved very loudly But this is not the owners' fault The flat in summer is very warm, even hot, and it is difficult to stand in it. Even an extra fan would be useful Very expensive private parking for 6 euros, I think it should be free as it is very difficult to find a parking space
