6 Berth heated on The Chase (Albany II)

I liked the space of the caravan and was lovely for my dogs to be able to roam safe on the veranda.

The shower tray was blocked and so hairs from previous people's stays would surface and we had to clean the vent above in the ceiling because dust fell from it. We had to fix the front steps leading up to the caravan as I nearly fell through it. The board that secured the sofa cushions from the pull out bed was broken and so we couldn't sit here. All beds and mattresses were not very comfy. Other problems were resolved on site.

We didnt like nothing about this caravan or the experience.

Caravan owner couldnt care less. On arrival we were told by the site office on the chase. That they knew nothing about our booking. We then called booking.com. To tell them that the chase knew nothing about our booking didnt have nobody under our name staying the 2 nights. No keys left at reception for us either!. It gets better too. I then started making emergency plans to stay elsewhere whilst trying to sort out over the phone our oringinal booking as there was myself my wife my daughter and her 3 children one of them being just 1yrs old. Booking told us they had spoke to the owner and they gave us his number. We called it and no answer! Several times. We called booking .com again. They told us to go back to The chase office and give the owners name we unfortunatley booked with. We did then this man just appears whom we apparently booked with. The reception staff looked at him and said firstly it would help if u answered your phone? He ignorantly said i have no missed calls to the lady on reception and said the same to us. He said sarah had called us to tell us we should come to there skegness office. We said all u kept e,mailing us was about your £50 bond nothing else except go to the chase site and pick keys up here?. Then he gave us our keys gave us a map of the chase site where it was located. We then get on our way to find it after all the hassle and stress he,d caused us on our arrival day. We told booking. Com we have keys and ended call. We get round to the caravan the ground around it was water logged. All our shoes were muddy and soaked through just to get to a fro from this van. We got inside thought right lets get sorted. The caravan was cold it looked tired chewed wall edges. We put the fire on and 1 blow electric heater. Then electric tripped out! My wife called him to sort it out. He just said check obvious trip switch. She did. It was,nt that. He said go outside the van theres another box!!!

Nothing

Everything , dirty old , noisy toilet , noises neighbours ,uncomfortable beds, heating poor, kitchen Lino badly water stain has a hole in to to Trip over , double glazed window was condensation between the double glazed unit . Taps drip . Not a good stay , won’t ever be going again , best avoided , and didn’t enjoy the caravan next to use banging shouting , scream , play loud music and swearing till 2.30 am in the morning . Supposed to stay 3 days , stayed one night went home , holiday ruined . Avoid avoid avoid. They don’t want to return your cleaning deposit in a hurry either. .
