Superb location and characterful property, away from the chaos of Calangute. The staff are attentive and work hard to make your trip memorable. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. The food and cocktails are exquisite and the evening entertainment a welcome addition to just chill out at the property. Breakfast was simple but sufficient and the plentyful fruit bowl was my favourite. I would definitely stay again.

This hidden gem is a must stay for anyone traveling to Goa. The hosts, Rohan and Tatyana, are skilled hoteliers who leave no detail unattended in the operation of this beautiful home away from home. We (2) were comfortable in our clean, spacious bedroom as well as in the gorgeous outdoor courtyard replete with verdant plants, delicious food and drink, and occasional live music. The location of the stay is perfect for those who are looking to engage with the culture and nightlife of the Calangute/Anjuna area while also staying proximate to Panjim, the capital and historical epicenter of Goa. While our stay at Casa do Leão was short and sweet, we found ourselves enamored with the charm and splendor of Goa, largely thanks to the generous hospitality and stellar recommendations of our hosts. Highly recommend: tasty breakfast and authentic pizza on premises, Sinquerim Beach (Coast Cafe) for sunbathing, Panjim for (de)colonial history, Anjuna for nightlife and delicious food, and Museum of Goa for thought provoking contemporary art.
