Penthouse with pool by Costarentals - Ref 214

What a beautiful place. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the space inside and outside were to die for. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Nothing to dislike.

The whole penthouse is flawless, best place I have ever stayed, was only upset i couldnt stay longer, living area, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms all top of the range. The balcony and views were breathtaking. BBQ and seating area was completely relaxing. Also throw in the hot tub it was just amazing and will definately be looling to book again 😍

The security man at night was quite rude

We chose this place because it was advertised as a high end and stylish penthouse. The interior design is indeed beautiful and has a Scandinavian touch that feels familiar to us. The person who welcomed my in laws was also warm and friendly. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not match the promises made in the listing. Even before arrival, communication already felt frustrating. Every request required an extra fee, such as the baby cot or late check in, and the charges were quite high. What concerned us most was not the money itself but the amount of back and forth required for even the smallest details. Each time we asked a question, another fee appeared, which created a high communication cost and did not feel appropriate for the price level. During the stay we encountered more issues. The kitchen had only one dish cloth. When we asked for an extra one, we were passed from one contact to another and were eventually told there would be an additional charge. In all the places we have stayed in Malaga, something this small has never required extra payment or complicated communication. The cleaning tools were also very dirty and difficult to use, which did not match the luxury image of the property. The apartment also lacked a washing machine. We have stayed in several units within the same complex and this was the first time we encountered a place without one. Staying for seven nights without a washing machine was very inconvenient and it reduced the comfort of the stay considerably. There is a design issue as well. The hallway light next to the bedroom is motion activated and there is no door separating the spaces. This means the light turns on repeatedly at night and affects sleep. Other minor issues such as no hooks for coats or missing shampoo were manageable, yet they added to the overall feeling that the details were not well considered. Two issues were especially serious. First, the WiFi was unstable.

The place is even better looking than the pictures! Excellent service and clear instructions on check-in and out. The view is spectacular, and the location is nice and quiet without being isolated.

The touchscreen was broken in jacuzzi, but didn’t matter much as it at least was warm.
