Super 8 by Wyndham Beaumont I-10 College St

Couldn’t use the tv. It came on but would not connect to internet. It would connect to WiFi but was not able to access the internet. Even connected to my iPhone hotspot and still wouldn’t work. When I called the front desk and asked if the internet was down because the tv wouldn’t work the guy said he would come up to the room. I asked him to wait because my gf was in the middle of getting dressed and he hung up and within a minute was knocking on the door. He knocked multiple times and then called the room phone and my cell phone which was given when the reservation was made. When I went to get in the shower I noticed a used bar of soap on the floor. I asked my gf why she didn’t pick it up if she dropped it and she said she didn’t drop the soap. I looked in the shower and her bar of soap was in the shower. Apparently it was left by the previous guest which made me decide to postpone taking a shower and that I would just book a room elsewhere, which is what I did. I checked out after being there for less than two hours. They have broke down vehicles sitting in the parking lot and there was a guy out front picking rocks out of a little water garden in the rain while it’s below 50 degrees outside. My initial impression was that this place was crash pad for the local tweaks. Had I not booked this reservation online ahead of time I wouldn’t have stayed at all.

Location , safety bar in shower

Dirty, no place to hang towels, hole in wall, musty smell, leak in bathroom which caused puddle on floor, hair dryer did not work

Huge rooms. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Beds were a little too hard.

Communication was terrible! I couldn’t even get fresh towels on the second day there because the housekeeper said she didn’t have any more and front desk said it wasn’t their job to get!

Breakfast, was alright

The sink was clog up soon as I was there, after the last night they finally fix the sink, I didn't have wash rags, the second night , and no bed made, so that night I had to make my own bed, then had a dog bark all night long to, they where hair on the bathroom floor, there was make up stains on the towel, they only gave 3 little pillows for a king size bed, someone else down the hall was blaring a radio, I never seen a motel ran like that, also i notice their staff understood very little English too,
