Costa Mahkota Sea view 1-Bedroom Retreat

Really liked this apt for our 4 night stay. Amazing sea view from the balcony, which was nice and shady as well. Very clean, good WiFi. Amenities include fridge, washing machine, 2 ring stove with cutlery, pans, plates etc. Check in and out instructions really clear and sent early on check-in day which was good. Very friendly owner even popped by with some fruit for us. Across the road from shopping malls, 20 min to Jonkers. Pool, tennis court gym and table tennis all in good condition. Would highly recommend.

Only issue is Google maps brings you to a gate which is now locked. We then had to do a big loop (Malaysian road design)to get to the right gate Obviously only a problem when we first arrived but not sure how to change that.

The unit is easy to check in. Has aircond in living room and vedroom. Has microwave, ironing, water dispenser for hot and warm water, clean towels Nice seaview. Comfortable firm beds and soft pillows.

The owner is a busy lady, seldom respond to your text within two hours. But she is friendly. We couldn't use the tv b'cos tv remote is missing. Maybe previous customer took it home. The owner gave us some rebate.

We really love the view and the vibe here is quiet and a great place to relax. Tv can watch Netflix and IQiyi which we enjoy very much. The place is spacious and well maintained. All in all it's a very good value for money and we enjoyed it really much.

The balcony railing is just wooden railing, it adds to the aesthetic values but it made me scared to be near it. Other than that if I may, I went with one more person and she said there's something peeking on her from the toilet door left a bit open while she was ironing clothes. This maybe shouldn't be included in reviews as this might not be because of the property but I just want people who read this to prepare. At least enter the property and give greetings and all that, to avoid this thing happening to you guys.

Spacious, clean and comfortable apartment on the last (14th) floor in the gated complex Costa Mahkota. Great views from the large terrace (sea and the Malacca Island), very quiet and cozy, comfy beds. All necessary amenities for a short stay provided, fast and reliable internet, large fridge, drinking water dispenser. Good location - Menara Taming Sari and St. Paul Hill are both about 10-15 minutes away on foot, all other main sights are also within an easy reach. Convenient also for leaving Malacca towards KL or Johor Bahru, if you are with a car. There is plenty of parking space in the building - at no additional cost. Easy check-in - you collect the key and the access car from a mailbox next to the guardroom.

A very minor complaint - not about the apartment itself, but the entire complex, designed mainly for people arriving and leaving in a car. There is only one gate (not counting the car access) to get out of the complex and to reach the street. From there, there are no bridges, passages or crossings to get to the shopping mall on the other side of the six lane boulevard, so you need to wait for an appropriate moment and run across. The traffic is not too terrible, though, so it is not too risky.

Everything was good. The owner so kind. She buy some food for breakfast to us 🥰
