2 The Old Schoolhouse: En-suite, hot tub, parking, pets

A gem of a property, would happily recommend and stay again. We were really lucky we were offered an earlier check-in which was helpful for my mum who has some health issues and tires easily. Lovely touches such as robes and spa towels. Beds comfy and property homely and kitchen well equipped. Hot tub was fab!

Nothing in my view

What an incredible find. Tucked away behind the high street in Whitstable, a courtyard with private parking. Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment in a converted school house. 2 double beds, on-suite shower/toilet room as well as a main bathroom (with a bath) plus modern kitchen / lounge /dining area. Literally a few minutes walk to the shops, the pubs, cafes, beach, harbour, castle, etc. Did I mention the Hot Tub ? This was definitely a winner, probably the best part of the holiday !

Not that this is any reflection upon the hosts, but just a reminder that being behind the high street, it was occasionally noisy late into the evening and early in the morning. But it's not surprising given the superb location.

Very quiet despite being next to the railway. Fabulous hot tub, especially after being out all day in a bitter easterly. Cozy and comfortable inside with handy things like coffee pods, basic cooking ingredients, shampoo and even sharp knives. Two minutes away from a great bakery called Grain and Hearth, with an easy walk to the sea, but on the right side of town for a quick exit. Easy parking, good directions, good comms.

The key code email comes at the end of a duplicate very long email that you'll have already received a couple of weeks earlier, so don't do what I did and think they had sent the original email again by mistake. The key code is in there somewhere. There are lots of rules about the hot tub written essentially for people who are thoughtless and selfish. If you're one of those people, simply stay at home.

Great location, beautiful inside, had mostly everything we needed, attentive and quick to respond owners when we had questions, great hot tub and outside space. Would stay here again for sure.

Nothing, it was perfect for us and our pooch!

The property is lovely and clean , lots of space and up to date, the touches of clean towels / robes were really nice. The baby cot provided was also spotless including blankets

There was nothing we did not like. I think we just weren’t aware that the hot tub was outside without a back door, however, I think this is because the building is old and listed. If we didn’t have a baby we would have spent the whole day in it :)
