"Nice stay in a lovely village, nice and quiet location."

Very quiet and peaceful.

The bed was too small, no wardrobe. The property could have been cleaner, shower hole, kitchen bin etc.

"Perfectly peaceful stay at Merchant Lodge. Saw a shooting star from the hot tub, super comfy bed."

Lovely assortment of breakfast items provided. Huge living space so when weather was poor we played on the VR Occulus and there's a huge TV for cinema feel. Great location to access local Co-op and hardware store. David was a warm and welcoming, helpful host. Really recommend a visit.

"Exceptional"

Everything was perfect. It was so cosy, we didn't want to leave. It was lovely and peaceful. Everything was clean, and the owner was very welcoming and made us feel at ease.

There wasn't anything not to like.

Fantastic location, greeted by the friendliest dog in the world and the owner was very welcoming and hospitable. Took a walk to the end of the garden and saw a kingfisher fly past on the lake next door. Really peaceful location. Definitely going back when I am in the area next.

Spacious, well equipped, massive TV, great aspect

A few tiny niggles, the shower was a good size but the water volume was low and the extract didn’t work.

"Quaint cottage"

Quaint little cottage in the grounds of a family home. Very comfortable and clean. Bacon, bread and cereal left for breakfast was a nice surprise! Beautiful outlook and glorious sunsets.

Lack of wardrobe for hanging clothes could be an inconvenience if staying for more than a few days.
