The Lodge - 2 acres of garden with hot tub and fire pit and BBQ

Peaceful location deceiving from the road. Cosy and comfortable lodge. Very accommodating host.

Bed was on the small side, but David said he had just purchased a king size. 👌

Amazing lodge, so much space inside, the most comfortable bed and sofas with a huge tv. So so cozy. The views are incredible too. The hot tub made our stay

It needs to be enclosed/private garden area for guests and for dogs. My dog ended up escaping into the next door field as there’s holes at the back of the land. It’s not separated off from the hosts house either

Breakfast options were all there ready in the kitchen and a drink on arrival. Hot tub was hot enough to use straight away on arrival.

The double bed was very comfy but the size of the room could accommodate a king or super king which is what people might be used to at home so a larger bed would be ideal for 2 guests staying.

Beautiful self-contained accommodation off the beaten track. Hidden down a drive and in the back garden with views out across fields. I wanted a few days away from the hustle and bustle of my life and found it here. Huge TV, comfy sofas, fully equipped kitchen with exceptional supplies provided, huge bedroom with the most comfortable bed I have slept in for years. Outside seating and hot tub with perfect peace and quiet. I wanted, and found, a few days retreat away from the world and was very happy to find that but local amenities include a lovely little pub, an award winning bakery, a highly recommended Chinese restaurant and a fantastic fish and chip shop all within walking distance. I have already booked a second visit and can hardly wait.

Having wracked my brain for days, I can't think of anything I would change other than the weather but I think that is not under the control of the venue... and it was a February stay.

The lodge was lovely and secluded. Near to the shops. Friendly host, nothing too much trouble. Will visit again

Beautiful picturesque safe location...Stunning modern accommodation.. Spotlessly clean..... Hosts have gone that extra mile with breakfast supplies to hand... Walking distance to local amenities such as pubs , takeaway shops and a local co op..

Just needs a hair dryer lol
