The Lodge - 2 acres of garden with hot tub and fire pit and BBQ

Fantastic location, local village has everything you need. Enjoyed the hot tub, had great views. Whilst relaxing. Very freindly host. Used it as a base to visit thetford forest.

David the host was amazing and always willing to help anytime needed, Had everything ready and waiting, Lodge was lovely and peaceful location, Perfect views and hot tub was a great way to relax and unwind.

Nothing at all it was perfect getaway

A lovely welcome from David, his daughter, and Billy the dog. A great choice of breakfast items were supplied inc bread, jams, and milk. The hot tub was very relaxing after a long day walking. We had deer in the hugh garden, which was lovely to see. The Swan pub served lovely food and is only a few minutes walk. David is a very good host.

The property could do with a clean. A little more storage is needed in the bedroom, possibly a chest of draws, there is plenty of room for one as it is a large bedroom. If you were staying for longer than 2 nights, you would need the storage.

The property is in a lovely quiet location. Big enough area to park. Has so much potential.

As it’s pet friendly we took our 6 month old puppy, although the garden says enclosed, we felt a little uneasy as it was so big and had access to the main property, and another dog (the owners dog) the property had a gate where a small/medium dog could get through, so we unfortunately had to keep our dog on the lead the whole time, I feel like the property could benefit from having the patio extended and a fence placed round, this would have allowed us to enjoy the nicer weather and left the doors open for our dog to explore without being limited to being on the lead as we were worried that he could escape, especially as the garden looked to have places round the edges where deer can come in.

The property was everything I had hoped. We loved it. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the outside space, the solar lights and the hot tub was a real treat. David got it ready for us on arrival. The house was immaculate and stocked with all that we needed.

I wish there had been a pen with the visitors book so I could say a big thank you! (I’m sorry I didn’t have one with me)

Lovely location with a few local pubs and shops near by, lodge itself was cosy.

Hot tub wasn’t ready to use on the day we got there which was disappointing but the host was understanding and let us stay later if we wanted to use it in the morning, also the shower had very weak pressure.
