Bed was comfy

Nowhere to hang clothes apart from hook on back of second bedroom door. Nowhere to put shampoo, shower gel etc in shower. Oven was dirty overall cleanliness wasn't great, parking not great. Entrance to property was via a path with bins and two old couches dumped and on entry to courtyard it was not the nicest and there was a washer left outside.

The whole cottage was spotless, with great facilities. Pre stay was made easy by the host keeping in touch, with relevant information emailed when needed.

Not negative comments, just personal suggestions. There are some low ceilings in the bedrooms and the bathroom. Anyone over 5ft would bang their heads. I know I did. The walls are white, so I think warning stickers would make occupiers more aware. The double bedroom had no storage, just 4 hangers on the back of the door. There is potential room for a small chest of drawers. No mirrors in either bedroom. Could we suggest movable floor length ones, as space is limited. Loads of storage in the bathroom, but not necessarily where we wanted to store things. 3 mirrors in the bathroom, but too high to see in. An extra towel to stand on when leaving the shower. A chopping board in the kitchen. On street parking could be problematic at busy times, so we did not move the car.

The bedroom, bathroom and lounge area are good. WiFi connection and smart TV excellent, heating worked well and books/ games a nice touch.

The kitchen was a bit grubby, it had been cleaned, so it’s more age and wear and tear,

Location, the peace and quiet, the layout. Easy to get town centre by car. The cooking facilities were good. Much better than a room and shower type place.

Some low angled ceilings my son is six two and I'm five five but I was the one who actually banged my head.

Location and tidy property with WI-FI.

Not a major issue but there was no hair dryer as my wife didn't bring hers. So if you see the photos of the walk and there is a woman with flat hair that is why! (Just a bit of humour)

No where to hang cloths and no mirror in bedroom and no hair dryer

Could be a lovely little cottage if it was bought up to date and was cleaner.

The facilities as such, were quite adequate. The heating system was very good as was the water temperature.

The house was, to put it politely, grubby. We found a half eaten meal in the Microwave and the Oven and Baking Trays were covered in grease and stale food. There were Cobwebs in the Bathroom and the Bathroom Sink had to be cleaned before we could use it. The floor in the Kitchen was sticky, which suggests it hadn't seen water for some time, much like any of the cutlery and crockery. We informed the "property contact" who apologised and offered us 2 free nights at another location. Unfortunately, or fortunately, he then went to ground. No response to our phone calls and messages. Glad to get out.

The property was light and airy, very clean throughout, can't fault it

Nothing to do with the property itself but being woken at 6am on a Sunday morning by the neighbour singing at the top of his lungs for 2 straight hours was not downing expected to spend my Sunday morning.
