Good location. Close to train station. Good facilities. Good communication with host.

Not suitable if you have mobility issues. No lift to 4th floor.

Fantastically located within the walls and by St Peter's gate. Well furnished apartment with laundry and ironing board. Nice touches on arrival and very clear instructions and helpful host throughout our stay. Be aware there are 4 flights of stairs to get to the apartment and no lift. Very good value for money.

Spacious apartment. Super comfy. Great location close to city center and to train station. Cosy furniture. Cleanliness.

Basically nothing..just tv channels sometimes not working

I try to reserve ten scores for the exceptional (a honeymoon destination or somewhere that someone with mobility issues would be happy to stay in and just watch the world go by). This very spacious apartment is worthy of a ten although there is no lift and there are several flights of wide stairs to climb. It is an old building which has been thoughtfully modernised so as not to loose its character. I would be happy to live there! 10 minutes level walk from the railway station and inside the old city walls there is nothing to dislike. There is a nice view over the gate in the city wall - I could have spent hours just watching people going about their everyday lives or walking, cycling or riding in a 'surrey' (two, four or six seater bikes with canopy) along the city walls. Lucca is a lovely city but is also handy for day excursions by train to Pisa and Florence. Good washing machine in flat (beware some flats 'with' washing machines refer to communal machines).

Just the stairs.

Really good location. Dropped off baggages and based on the host instruction we could find free parking not far. The apt had all the amenities (with the exception of cork screw) we needed for the stay. There were 2 separate rooms, so apt is even usable for 2 couples.

The stairs are fairly steep and the apt is on the 4th floor. So if you have difficulties with stair climbing you have to consider this. Also the tempeture of the shower water is fluctuating - but is is very common in Italy. This comment is more of an advice than a dislike.

The apartment is in a fabulous position just inside Luccas wall. Well set up with washing machine as well which was a bonus. Heating was great as it was quite cold in december. Bathroom is quite dated with shower over bath tub and shower curtain, but shower was hot and everything was clean. Free parking at Aldo Moro Parking and approx 10 minutes walk to accommodation, but you do have to cross a railway line which involves stairs.

The stairs......approximately 60! Wasn't easy getting our suitcases up the stairs.

The property is in a great location. It's close to the train station, restaurants and the attractions of Lucca

Compared to other properties of similar age that we stayed in, the property is in need of an update. It's ok being in a very old building, but you can still have the latest of everything inside the property. The kitchen and bathroom need to be updated. The bed needs a new mattress. Underneath the sink wasn't clean. The stairway area was full of pigeon poo and feathers
