The Location was good. House was a big and fit everyone. Kitchen was well equipped.

The heat hardly came on. It was absolutely freezing.

perfect location to walk into Edinburgh and close to the station. Big house and plenty of room

It was very cold when we arrived but John came to sort that when asked.

A beautiful old house with so much charm and character spread over three floors. The rooms are large and comfortable, check in process was easy and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need for a few days stay with a large group. The rooms are separated enough to feel private even if you’re all staying in one property.

Windows very thin so a bit cold in some of the rooms. The bathrooms need better toilets and showers, especially the upstairs shower. It’s a shame some of the carpets are getting so worn down in such a beautiful property. Maybe providing house shoes could avoid this. The Wi-Fi didn’t work on the top or the second floor which was fine for one evening but if we had been there longer it would have been a problem.

It's spacious.

The beds were not very comfortable. There was no shower curtain, it was hard to keep the water in. The location is not what it shows on the booking page. The location shown is their office which is much more central. The real location is written next to the title of the booking. It was a bit misleading because the location we thought was the real one is why we picked it.

Plenty of rooms, a very unique property, loved the details and location. Be sure to read the description, there are lots of stairs, we were well aware, and fine for our group but if we stayed longer might be tedious. Had to reach out to host get the heat on due to the cold rain and he responded promptly and got us set up.

It was great for our stay but property is dated and could use some maintenance/updating. The beds were not all comfy but were great for our stay, so much room if you have a large group.

Amazing location. Spacious and elegant. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating, he went above and beyond for us as our flights delayed.

I loved the quirkiness and the location, exactly what you needed around you and within close distance. John was fantastic 👏

The water pressure and the bathroom facilities. New showers need to be installed with a house that size and the reason for booking being that you have a large party size the bathrooms should reflect this. It should be able to provide the two bathrooms with showers that are good quality and this is the only thing that is letting this property down.
