2 Chester St

We never stayed in an apartment with 4 floors :D It felt like being on a castle. Lots of space! Great location close to city center.

Some of the beds were a little creaky. The water pressure was low.

Was lovely to stay in such a grand home, lots of space for all 9 of us. Perfectly located, so close to lots of restaurants & walking distance to Princess St & public transport including train station.

Beautiful old home

The house was very grand and uniquely decorated with various pieces of art and some large murals on the walls. The lounge was a really good space for the group to come together and there was enough room for everyone to sit.

We had no hot water on 2 out of 3 days and with a large group all needing showers this was not well received. The host came on the 2nd day and resolved the issue for the evening, but the water was cold again the next day. There was very little bedding on the beds - I.e. one thin pillow and thin duvets and the beds were very thin and soft.

The location to everything was amazing, and the house gorgeous. Would highly recommend! Especially for travelers from abroad that want to experience a British city house at its best. Everywhere you looked there was fun art and mirrors, every room had a personality and a fun twist.

Remember to get instructions for heating and keys, John was very easy to ask and it got sorted easily and fast.
