The accommodation is exactly as described and fulfilled our need as a home base to explore the area. The home has everything that is required and then some. The owner Trudi went out of her way to ensure we knew exactly what was going on in and around the area. Providing updated LS schedules etc. The informational brochures around the house provides so much information and would be a saving grace if you didn't prepare a sightseeing agenda before your trip. The home is also very centrally located with some if the best restaurants in the area only a short drive away. A special mention is reserved for the incredible water pressure in the shower. I've never stayed anywhere with better water pressure. We definitely enjoyed our brief stop over and should have reserved an extra day since there is so much to see in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Some of the amendments eg. the tv could use with an update, but in all honesty, do you really need it when the area has so much to see and explore. (No deal breakers).

Was perfect in every sense

Ideal location, complete house and garden to ourselves. Safe and quiet, beautiful mountain view. Easy access, undercover parking for one car. Washing machine - handy after muddy waterfall hike in the rain. Comfy bed ( no backache clear sign I need a new bed at home 😄). Trudie (hostess) was really helpful with what to do, where to eat, and warnings due to heavy rain. The house, bedding etc. was nice and clean. Overall we had a really nice stay and would stay there again. May recommend a Dri Buddy or something similar for the rainy season. Thank you for the message my son loved it.

Nothing major, small things I think the manager needs to look at when checking the house for the hostess. I work in facilities management so tend to notice little things that may cause a problem. The kitchen oven needs a good clean - pans were clean but racks need a scrub and rubber loose so opted not to use it to prevent damage. The dustbin outside needs to be emptied (was completely full and had to make a plan with the garbage) not sure if the cleaning lady saw that or when the garbage run takes place in the area over Christmas. Would recommend to keep extra garbage bags on hand over the busy season since public holidays can affect disposal. I recommend some small maintenance checks (power kept tripping when trying to use the toasters). Maybe toasters were faulty because the Iron worked.

I like the fact that the property is exactly what was advertised. It was comfortable and homely. On arrival we were met with lovely personal notes left all over the unit for that personal touch along with freshly picked flowers in every room. This add such a warm feeling to your stay

There wasn't anything I didn't like in terms of the accommodation, everything was what was advertised. I would suggest however for future visitors that just a garden tidy as most people don't always like very rustic as much as we do.

They said they have cleaned up the place but it looked like they just cleaned on the surroundings only even the bedroom sheet where having dirty. .. the yard was not even cleaned..

Very homy and comfy, very relaxed. Abundance of nature

The Mosquitoes were very bad, we were eaten alive. But that is not the property managers fault.. that's nature for you. Make sure you pack peaceful sleep when going to sabie
