The Rose 508: Stylish City Centre Studio

The railing on the balcony was loose and unsafe. We notified the property and the ensured us that it would be fixed before we got back to the apartment. We agreed to let them in the apartment to fix the balcony. The balcony was never fixed. People came into the apartment, sat around and shoved some plastic into the balcony hole.

There is a clock outside the building that makes noise throughout the night, so kept us up all night.

Appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms. Staff members were friendly and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights and there was no housekeeping services. The parking situation is inconvenient: for safe, covered / basement parking overnight (or extended time periods), you have to pay R160+ because the apartment leverages another building’s paid parking. The other option is street parking. We booked the room with a Mountain View but that was only available on the rooftop. The AC in our room also wasn’t working.

Clean, good location

This is not an apartment, it is a tiny hotel room for max 1 person. There is no gym facilities (having an independent gym in the building next door does not qualify as their facility what they seem to think), and there is no laundry in the room (but an oven etc, which is weird because there is not even a table to sit at to eat..
