A good location for the start of the vacation to get to all relevant spots super quick. Studio is cute and includes all basics you need. Also the pool area is nice (unfortunately no pool towels included.

The bed is super short and small. So if you are taller than 175cm it’s tricky. Maybe you should write the measurements of the bed into the description. Our room smelled like weed - we also mentioned it at the reception. The towel change was scheduled for a day but we have to requested it 3 times to get new ones on the next day.

Good value for money, good location.

1)The reception starts at 9am which means we had to skip our early plans and wait until 9am if we needed something. 2) We paid 20$ for room cleaning and all they did was providing us a new towels and bed sheets. Cleaning of the dishes, ground sweeping was not done!

"Clean and comfortable"

The room is brand spanking new. Everything works and you're fully kitted, especially if it's a long-term stay. I only stayed one night and can confirm that the bed is super comfortable. There's aircon, a smart TV (with Netflix and YouTube preloaded), fast WiFi, a kettle (with milk, tea, coffee, and sugar), an espresso machine (no pods, though... waaaah!), a stove and oven, mini-fridge, iron, ironing board, blow driver, and plenty of storage space. Basically, everything you'd need in a 1-2 person studio. You'll also get a towel, soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

Check-in was slightly problematic. In short, there are many agents operating at The Rose, and the reception staff, albeit helpful, struggled to find my booking. Then, the reception staff couldn't get the access code to work. In the latter issue, I wouldn't explicitly blame the host—the building and its systems are extremely new, so it's understandable if there are some initial learning hurdles and technical issues. Eventually, we were just given a manual key after spending at least an hour trying to get the code to work.
