Comfortable beds

Not enough seating in lounge area . Rugs a trip hazard and tired looking . It was adequate accommodation but not outstanding also due to weather no fans were available. Also rubbish still left outside from previous people not resolved while we were there so it was difficult to recycle.

Great wee house plenty of room for 3 friends travelling together very clean easy to find and park close by

The house was light, airy and spacious. Well equipped. Comfy beds and sofa. Good location for walking in to the city if you’d like to, also some parks and moorland road (shops, cafes etc) within ten minutes walk. Great that a cot and high chair were provided. There wasn’t private parking as listed on the website but we didn’t have trouble parking along the road outside. The garden was lovely and terrace fab for stunning sunsets (although at the top of steep steps and slope so bear that in mind if you have any mobility needs).

There wasn’t a door from the lounge to hallway/stairs so whilst other aspects of this house were family friendly, I wouldn’t return until my toddler is much older. There were child locks on the kitchen cupboards which was initially a great surprise/relief but then I realised they were all mismatched/ broken which was a shame - amending this and perhaps offering a stair gate given there isn’t a door to stop little ones attempting the stairs would really help young families. With a non mobile baby or older children you’d be fine!

The size of the unit was good for multiple people.

The handrail for the stairs did not run the whole length of the staircase.

The house was huge and very pretty. Beautiful decor and ornaments are placed all over the house and there is also a good selection of books. There are 3 bedrooms and each one has a queen size bed. The kitchen is well equipped, too. The owners, Martin and Sylvia, were very friendly and a good-looking couple with impeccable taste.

That there isn't a clothes drier and the hairdryer which was believed to be stolen was not replaced. Besides, there isn't any shampoo and bath soap. That's why I gave it a 9 star rating. Otherwise, it would be a 10!

TV stuck on 3. No hairdryer. No where to unpack clothes in attic bedroom. No shower wash. Uncomfortable sofa. Stuffy smell in house. Only 1 patio chair. Contacted staff re above - said we were first to complain and did nothing to resolve. Shower TINY.

We liked everything, spacious, the area, felt like home.

Quiet location. Easily accessible for transportation such as taxi and uber. Always a quick and friendly response to any questions we had. Very pleasant stay.

For some reason there were no washcloths available. There needs to be some spare trash bags especially for longer stays. There needs to be an anti-slip mat in the shower. Suggest some items like soap and shampoo for a few days worth. The washing machine works well but there is no dryer available. Suggest posting times for garbage and recycling pickup. Toilet paper supply was low.
