The price was not expensive. The owner provided us snorkels for free and shared personal hotspot while internet of the hotel was not working. Marsa Mubarak tour was well worth it (we paid 35 euro per person). The owner opened the door for us at 2 AM in the morning, we appreciate it. The terrace is nice.

We were initially thinking about giving a higher rate for this place. Also, did not want to mention the disadvantages of it, but this information might be important for upcoming guests. The owner is doing business and trying to sell some tours, which is totally fine. On our first day, we asked for some information, mainly because there was no internet in the morning that day. The owner arranged us a driver who took us to a famous beach around 40 min far away. The driver's name was Hasan and he was 17 years old (he told us so). Our first stop was a Vodofone shop and Hasan told us that 20 GB internet is for 20 Euro. He did not want us to enter the shop with him. In the end, he sold us a copy of his Sim Card registered for a company. He paid around 4 Euro (I know this, because Vodofone sent a message to the phone number in Arabic, which I translated a week later in a Vodofone shop) and he took 20 Euro from us for one sim card. We were using internet, but somehow our hotspot usage was extremely high. We ended up in a Vodofone shop and asked about this issue. They clearly stated that the card was cloned and multiple people were using the card at the same time. We were upset and did not want to use this cloned card. We got a brand new card there for 11 Euro for 26 GB. I wanted to tell this story here, maybe the owner does not know about the situation. Now, you know, the owner knows, Hasan might know and I hope he is happy with the 16 Euro that he stole from us. So, I recommend that you get your Sim Card from the airport or shop yourself, without getting the KIND help from the owner or his drivers. Additional things worth mentioning: -The place is in the middle of nowhere. There are empty buildings everywhere and it is 15 min walking distance from the town. There are many street dogs in the area, if you are afraid of them, this place is NOT for you. -No soap at the toilet, the shower needs maintenance work. -There is nothing special about the room.

Location is easy to find. Clean rooms and Quiet Place. The Terrace is A+

Omar is a great Host... He will do the extra mile to make sure you get the right service. Great clean quiet place not far from town centre... But far enough to have a quiet and comfortable sleep. Terrace us phenomenal!!!

Nothing to do with the property. But would be great to have them amazing beaches around Marsa Alam easier to access rather than Egyptian taxi challenge every time 😁.

The owner Omar is really nice and helpfull Its clean The staff is sooo kind The roof top is amazing (there is a ping pong table) The room are perfect There is a kitchen You can book tour with them

Very kind and helpful staff. The dorms are really comfy and the rooftop is great to meet other travellers. There you can get in touch with other people to organise dives. Omar is really friendly and can help you to organise Dolphin reef excursions at a cheaper price. Don't hesitate to contact him for transportation as private driver can be pricey in Marsa Alam, he will also help you to find a trustworthy and honest driver. Thank you for everything 🙏

10/10 for the host! I’ve never experienced someone so helpful and kindhearted as omar. He went to all lengths to make my stay as enjoyable as possible, giving advice and organizing all kinds of thinks, incl. food deliverys to the hostel! Really, just a fantastic guy! The Beds are comfortable, everything is very clean, it‘s super spaceious.

Marsa Alam is a dead city, there is really not a lot going on. So the location of the place doesn‘t really matter.
