Alam B&B

This is my second time in Egypt and for far this is the best place where I have stayed. As a solo female traveler I couldn’t have felt more safe and take care of. Omar is a great host who really wants that their guest have the best experience. I came to dive and he helped me to find the best price in town for my divings. There is a kitchen with all what you need to cook, but Omar can help you ordering food from local shops to be deliver to the hostel. The room had a nice AC and the bed was very comfortable. The rooftop is really nice, and you can meet there other travellers. You can also buy beer or water for a reasonable price. Thank you Omar for make my time in Marsa Alam so nice, I hope to come back soon!

It was a horrible experience. Never again. The place it self's is not bad. But the owner is manipulative and just cares about the money. I booked 1 night at a low price and then I kept increasing the stay with him and he never informed me that the prices are increasing. He basically increased the prices at about the time we were leaving making the whole experience crap. And didn't even inform us about it and made us feel like like we are doing him bad by not meeting him in the middle of our first night price and his new high price. On top of that there are the random pushes to buy things and saying oh that's not that expensive, standard manipulative techniques. Showing nice face at first and then pulling us in the dark hole of spending crazy. And I heard same things from many other guests. And cherry on top of cake is that he always pushes you to go Diving with his affiliations, drive with his taxis., eat from his orders etc. We were the guests staying there the longest and we were always nice to others and never said our gut feeling about the owner to other guests, but he proves us right at the end by making everything sour for us at the end. He says it's just 10 euros, it's just 15 euros, I don't want headache on this little money, then why were you manipulating and made bad experience for us on this little money? If you want to have happy holidays, avoid this guy.

Alam B&B is an amazing place! Omar, the owner, made us feel at home as soon as we got there. He is always there to help everyone and he is super generous. The rooms are clean and spacious and so are the bathroom. The rooftop is the perfect place to relax after a day of diving. The breakfast is super yummy. Everything was perfect!

Extremely accommodating host who offered anything needed for stay in Marsa Alam. Good vibes, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Location is a little out of the way, but transportation was easy and assisted by the host. Great choice for those who don’t know the area. Thank you again, Omar! i

Meeting Omar was one of the most positive experiences we had in Egypt. He is an excellent host, extremely kind and dedicated, he helped us in effectively arranging amazing activities even without any prior notification, at the right price and with impeccable precision. The structure is basically new and well equipped. If something is missing, Alam B&B's amazing staff will do their best to help. Value for price paid is favorable beyond any expectation. Breakfast is good, but only continental. I would suggest to foresee at least few options for "sugar-eaters" like us!!

They scammed me after long day of my flight That they can't host us after we paid We contacted booking.com and they were responsible to refund my money The account holder is not the real owner of the property and the owner was so rude with us To not consider that we came from long trip to find ourselves in the streets again
