Cozy brand new beach house - 2 mins to the beach

Location was great it was clean had everything that we needed!

It had ant and roach problem!

My rating for this house is a 1 because the decor was pretty. BUT these were the problems the house had Dirty filter you could see from the hallway , hasn’t been changed in a very long time, also it’s Not walking or close to the beach , you can’t walk in that heat 20 min ! Hot inside !!! We had to keep asking for help because they have a smart air conditioner turns off every 2 hours so hot The Trash was not taken out and caused a major ant problem which got into our luggages and back packs. No extra linens the ones they had on the horrible mattresses where super thin and cheep. Only 3 body towels the rest were small! Carpet is curled up and trip hazard tripped like 10 times ! Remote for TVs need batteries you have to manually change the tv volume and channels. One drinking glass for water only wine and coffee mugs Unless you ask you don’t get the pin to use the tv All doors have combo locks but you have to ask for the combo no books in the place to give instructions to the house. Laundry room no pod provided so can’t wash unless you bring soap Not enough toilet paper they gave super cheep one roll that was half done , ran out before we left. Gross ladies black hair in the bed on the pillows And Super flat pillows !! The bunk bed mattress had to be put on the floor because the wood holding it up was broken and bent ! Super unsafe !! We got rid of the beginning of a hornets nest on the entrance porch , they’re welcome !! Was very disappointed especially at $500 ish for the night ! Deff not worth it! Feel super ripped off

The property had been updated. It was close to beach, but still needed to drive.

At our check in time, the house was not cleaned after previous guest. There were very little amenities at this beach house compared to other Airbnbs. There were problems with ants in the kitchen and bathroom. The smoke detector was constantly beeping. The settings on the thermostat was hard to control and keep house cool. We stayed 3 nights and had 4 towels for 4 people, no detergent for dishwasher or washer, no extra bedding or blankets. The host could of been more helpful. Also, i requested a refund on our cleaning fee due to the condition of the house when we arrived, I was told by the host from the owner/Carly that she would not do a full refund but only take $50.00 off of cleaning. They said I needed to let Booking.com know it was okay to refund the $50.00 on cleaning fee. Please let me know on this.

It was a nice place to stay at for the price.

Some appliances did not work correctly and Handyman never replied to my calls or text. Ants/Fly's constantly needed attention. The yard was not presentable. An incident in the neighborhood required the police, that had the Street blocked and shut down 2 houses down from the rental property and other vehicles took up the rentals parking in the front area. The washer door did not open, causing clothes to be stuck for a day of the trip(beach). The knob on the stove was broken as was 1 of the futons in the Kids area.

the place looked clean and it had enough bedding available . the shampoo dispenser , the showers head and water pressure were really good to have a relaxing shower. it was really nice that the kitchen was equipped and the laundry . it was awesome that there was parking for two cars in the back.

the fire alarm keeps beeping at night , it might need batteries. Also, the sofa/bed in room one was lose. finally, it really is 15 minutes relaxing walk to the beach not 2 minutes, but it is really nice.

it has a cute fresh new look

refrigerator was dirty, price tags and stickers still on the furniture, hair in shower and in the bed. it didn’t look like the sheets were washed. when we arrived, a/c was completely turned off and very warm in the house and we had to call maintenance to fix the chirping smoke alarm; that fix lasted until 3:50 am when the alarm started to chirp again. street is small and fills up fast with cars and our truck didn’t fit in space behind the house. It is also a not a 2 min walk to the beach. It is close to the beach, but for the young families with wagons and lots of gear, you will not want to walk.

the way the thermostat is controlled like every 2 hrs it starts getting hot again better instructions on how to reprogram the thermostat for the duration of the stay would be great
