Расположение отеля отличное: с одной стороны территория граничит с рекой, с другой стороны сразу через тротуар начинается пляж. Пляж огромный, в меру тихий и чистый. на территории отеля бассейн чистый, дают хорошие полотенца. Все ребята, кто там работает моментально реагируют на просьбы. Мебель в апартаментах добротная, квадратура большая.

Lovely villa, pool, super close to a lovely quiet beach

We booked No 1 Bentota as a family for our final night in Sri Lanka. We booked it as it was described as a two bedroom villa - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, private lounge and dining area. On arrival we were shown to a bedroom within one of the villas and told that only this room was a our private space. It turned out that they had taken a booking for the other bedroom in the villa - therefore meaning we expected to share the communal space with another couple and more significantly had only been allocated one bedroom instead of two. After we had pointed this out and showed them the Booking.com reservation that clearly stated a two bedroom villa, this meant the staff had to make a few calls to the off-site management. They had no other accommodation available that they could offer us. Thankfully we were only due to stay one night and fly out early the next morning. If this mistake had happened on a booking for several nights then it would have had significant impact on our holiday. Also worth mentioning that the bedroom we had allocated had no internal lock; which was less than ideal given we had a child with us. We had shared use of the lounge, tv and fridge with the other couple. We were surprised given the obvious error from the site management, that we had to ask for our room rate to be reduced. Would have thought this should have been offered straight away. We were clearly not going to pay the rate for sole use of a two bedroom villa when we were only allocated one bedroom. The off-site management did eventually agree to our request for a rate reduction. The property itself was lovely with nice grounds and pool. Shame the management error spoiled our last night in Sri Lanka

Die Lage ist genial. Direkt an einem sehr schönen Strand mit weichem Sand. Was jedoch außergewöhnlich war, ist das Haus: Ein 150m2 Bungalow im Bauhausstil. Die Bilder zeigen exakt, was man erhält: Ein Wohnraum mit unglaublichen 96m2 Wohnfläche, Marmorfußboden, einer zweiten Ebene, die über ein sanfte 10m Rampe erreicht wird. Ein großer, massiver Esstisch, Loungesofa, Designermöbel - angefertigt für das Haus. Eine 12m lange 4,5m hohe Fensterfront mit dunklem Holz, die den Blick zu einem toll angelegten, palmenbestandenen Garten gestattet, in dem ein ebenfalls mehr als 10m langer Pool den Mittelpunkt darstellt. Der Schlafraum (50m2) ist zum Wohnraum mit raumhohen verglasten Raumteilern abgegrenzt. Moderne, minimalistische Einrichtung gibt dem Ganzen einen sachlichen, aber doch wohnlichen Charakter. Es ist auf jeden Fall Geschmackssache. Wir mochten es sehr. Alles ist sehr sauber. Kleine Stellen wie ein wenig angelaufenes Chrom im Bad oder ähnliches sind der Lage direkt am Meer geschuldet. Es gibt einen Butlerservice (wirklich!) Angenehm unaufdringlich und sehr serviceorientiert. Andere Gäste berichteten von unangenehmen "Verkaufsversuchen" für Attraktionen. Wir erlebten nix dergleichen. Wir haben uns für das Abendessen in der Location entschieden und haben es nicht bereut: Zwei Fischplatten und eine Flasche Wein zum fairen Preis und beides wirklich gut. Das Frühstück ebenfalls vom Buttler serviert: Frisch, lecker und im Preis inbegriffen. Fazit: Hervorragend!

Such friendly and helpful staff. Food was good. Location is absolutely stunning. Peaceful with water on both sides (lagoon and ocean) beautiful swimming pool. Gorgeous, very spacious rooms and living areas. Beautifully designed.

Small minus is the beach without sunbeds and umbrella. But villa is really perfect

Amazing property, seconds from a lovely clean, safe beach. Huge rooms to relax in and the staff were really attentive to our needs. Pool was clean and the perfect temperature and the grounds were lush and green. We had a great stay!
