Cosy 1890s Home Nestled In Penistone

Good communication with owner. The house was clean, newly decorated and well furnished. The designated parking space saved any worry over where to park. There are plenty of things to do nearby, including lovely walks and visits to castles, pretty villages and coffee shops.

Stairs are steep and narrow. A washing up bowl and egg cups would have been helpful.

Nice and warm on arrival, good location, private parking is handy.

No cot, highchair or stair gate as advertised and agreed upon which made it very difficult for us. Weren’t told about change of access to the property until we arrived and waiting to get inside. Beds weren’t made up as requested.

Close to amenities and good for dog walks. Very clean and comfortable.

Parking was a bit difficult to work out which space is the correct one. In the end a neighbour directed us to the correct space. Washing machines in the kitchen were left filled with dirty laundry. Host left complementary biscuits, nice thought, but there were over a month past best before and had gone soft. Worst of all the toilet backed up and filled with raw sewage!

The property was neat and clean and the location was perfect for us. We would love to stay here again if offered…
