Very near the sea front,shops & Tesco Comfortable beds

Back garden was un-tidy and I had to pick up 4 dog poo bags full of cat poo from the garden because my dog would have eaten it( beagle)! Cat poo is toxic to dogs. However, if anyone stayed with children, they couldn’t have let them play on the garden because the weeds hid the cat poo.

The owner was very responsive and ommunications with him were very good - got quick answers to questions. The house is well located - it was great having the Tesco close by. The kitchen had all the utensils and appliances we needed and the water temperature and pressure in the bathroom were good. The master bedroom was a good size with a really comfortable bed

The most inconvenient thing was not having a bathroom or toilet on the floor with all the bedrooms. For those needing to use the toilet during the night, this arrangement was a real nuisance. i slept downstairs on the sofa during our stay It would have been nice to have a sponge to wash the dishes with (a brush is not adequate). And paper towels to wipe down surfaces.

Zero welcome pack, not even a dishcloth. Downstairs bathroom, appreciate it is an old property so should have guessed but would have been nice for that to have been highlighted somehow. Stairs were, old house I know, but gloss painted and only a partial handrail, not good for creaky joints!! The movement activated lights were great…once we had charged them, luckily we had a charger. Not a huge amount of living space, would struggle to seat 4 unless you like being cosy. Back garden was not welcoming, not pleasant to sit out in.

Paul kindly arranged with the housekeeper to allow us to check in early. Street parking was not an issue even though we weren't always directly outside the property, really close to the promenade and a short walk to Tesco in one direction and the centre of Hunstanton in the other. Paul has created a home from home, the kitchen is well equipped, there is a comfortable sitting room and dining room too. Master bedroom has plenty of room and storage.

From a personal point of view, we prefer to sleep with feather (low) pillows rather than thick foam (high) pillows but not really an issue for 4 days. It would nice to have a 'prettier' back garden but understand the issue with upkeep for a holiday let.

Lovely spacious house, close to seafront, ideal for us with our grandchildren. Beds were comfortable, plenty of storage, kitchen well equipped. Nice decor, clean. Bathroom suited our needs.

The stairs were a hazard for us with a 2 year old, as no banister on one side and the top of the stairs was right outside the children's room. I was really worried my 2 yrold granddaughter would fall down the stairs because of the angle of the steps at the top and the proximity to their doorway. If we had known we would have brought a stairgate for safety. I have contacted owner about this as I'm sure other families would have the same issue. The other thing that was worrying was dog excrement in the back garden grassed area. We didn't see it and it wasn't till 2 Yr old fell in it whilst playing that we discovered it under leafy foliage in the grass. This put the garden out of bounds for the kids as unfortunately it was not solid poo so couldn't be picked up easily. I also contacted the owner about this on day 1. A minor issue was having no other loo roll except the 1 on the holder. Felt a bit stingy after paying nearly £700 for the 4 days and having 1 loo roll between 5 people!

Bathroom downstairs

Everything was clean and comfortable and exactly as described. The location was very good, just a few minutes from the beach and the town and also from the bus stop and Tesco’s.

Just one loo (downstairs) was a little tricky for six people staying there. But not too much of a problem really!

I liked the style of the house, high ceilings and wooden floors

Having to go downstairs to the bathroom but I know it’s an old house and that’s the way it is

Clean and comfortable property with a well equipped kitchen. Close to the beach Will definitely book again in the future
