5 Miles to the Ocean

Everything was great! This place had anything you would have needed during your time away from home. All the comforts of home and more. Very close to anything and everything yet was quiet and peaceful to just relax and get away from life for just a bit.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

A cute little welcome basket full of treats and beverages upon arrival. Very spacious and had lots of extra amenities, like butter and seasonings, so I only had to buy the main food items that I needed. Water temperature gets as hot as I like it, lava temperature truthfully, and the water pressure was phenomenal. Hosts were very kind and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

The streaming services required a personal login and we're included with the stay.

There are so many things we like about this property. We have stayed here a few times and plan to stay here again.

It was one of the most beautiful places I had stayed at!! Not to mention the hosts were incredibly polite it was one of my very first vacations I had ever planned on my own and they were so accommodating and just flat out some of the most golden hearted individuals I had ever come into contact with. They also left the sweetest little welcome basket I will definitely book with them again if I’m in the area!

It was very nice and cozy. We liked the location of the place and how it was like 30 minutes to everything surrounding it. Emerald Isle is a beautiful beach. The place was immaculate and clean. Had everything we needed and way more.

There was nothing about it that we didn't like.

Thank you for allowing us in your beautiful home. We had everything we needed and more. From charcoal to q-tips or even a crockpot.😄 Welcome basket, umbrella, canes, plenty of linens they had it all. Pat and John made sure they didn’t miss a thing you needed and even asked if we needed more. We’d love to stay again 10/10!

Can’t think of anything! We saw a sweet kitty around the neighborhood and my daughter wanted to take it home. 😆 (We didn’t)

The place had everything needed for a long stay, great location, kind hosts. Quiet and private location. Very cute house with an apartment with a private entrance and balcony with a grill. The bedding was very soft. The kitchen and laundry were just the right size. Loved being able to talk to hosts via phone or in person and arriving to a bottle of wine, felt thoughtful, trustworthy.
