We spent only one night but Raptor Lodge is a clean, lovely place to stay in the immediate vicinity of Hoedspruit centrum.

Raptors is situated conveniently close to good restaurants and the town. The beds were comfortable and the outside shower excellent. We did not use the self-catering facilities so cannot comment on those.

The house is in need of a bit of TLC e.g. the mozi net had a large hole in it. Finding the location was a bit tricky as the pin location sent via What's App took us on the wrong road.

Big space, good WiFi. Host was very responsive.

Road leading down to the stay was a bumpy dirt track that wasn't very wide. The blinds would be see through at night. Quite loud, could hear cars coming down the road, etc. Best for people staying during the day.

Stunning house! The place is very comfortable and beautiful. It's within minutes of shops and restaurants and communication from the host made for an easy check in. An absolute gem!
