11 Raptors Lodge

This was my second visit to Raptors Lodge as a property. I love the convenience of the location and the well appointed accommodation. The local Spar is down the road and the tourism centre has lots to offer in the form of coffee shops and retail. Loved being able to do a load of laundry :-)

Let me be honest, the property was so wonderful that I wish I had scheduled a longer stay. Staff was incredibly helpful.

Comfortable stay everything you needed

Location was great, unit was lovely, outside shower was beautiful, although there was no water the next day so we couldn't use it before leaving.

We found the signage to the lodge confusing and ended up in the wrong estate initially. Booking.com didn't give us an entry code for the main entrance gate, only for the lock box to access the unit so when we arrived we had to phone for a code. We got to unit 11 and the pin code given for the lock box didn't work so I once again had to phone for help. Turned out we had been moved to unit 16 but no one thought to tell us! We were not provided with an exit code so once again had to make a call. Donna was very helpful and obliging, nothing was too much trouble for her, but we felt that this could have been avoided by better communication from Booking.com.

Every thing was perfect, communication from the host from a day prior to check in and on the day we checked out was excellent. The tv worked very well and had a wide variety of channels, the house had ample space and was fully equipped with all the necessary equipment.

Just stayed the night. Breakfast is not an option at raptors.

Overall very clean and neat. Cigarette stompies were in the braai which I had to remove before I could make my fire. The braai could have been cleaned better. Everything else was perfect.
