"Fabulous location"

Location is great for site seeing

Its a lovely feature and its not really a didn’t like as i did, but the spiral staircase upto first floor is tight, you have to take care and have good grip on slippers as its wooden.

"Wonderful cosy cottage with everything you need!"

The cottage was super cosy with everything you need. The location was great for amenities and exploring the surrounding nature and Cheddar Gorge. It had a lovely wood burning fire which was lovely in the evening. You can see the time and quality that has gone into saving this cute place (pictures in the welcome book of how it looked when it was bought... basically rubble!). Rachel was really friendly and helpful and super welcoming. Theres a handy welcome book with lots of useful information too. The cottage is located on a nice quiet country road with parking provided. Its also great that its dog friendly.

There was no phone reception at all so just something to be aware of but there is Wifi which worked great. The staircase is quite a tight spiral so anyone with an older/immobile dog may struggle! Also, any young overly enthusiatic dogs would need to be careful not to slide on the stairs of they are prone to any zoomies!

Woodview cottage is amazing, the most perfect escape surrounded by beautiful countryside and Rachel was the best host - always quick to reply to any queries we had and very helpful and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable with super soft duvet and pillows and great shower with (again) super soft towels! The tea, biscuits and fresh milk were such a lovely and welcome touch in making our stay even better. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here and I will hopefully have the opportunity to visit again (would love to make use of the gorgeous fire place in winter)
