Lark Lane Hideaway

The property was spacious and very comfortable.we enjoyed having a bathroom each and the kitchen was well designed and had everything we needed. Lark Lane is a very special location with a real buzz. There are lots of places to eat and drink . It’s close to good transport links and leafy green spaces.

It did get a bit warm due to the big windows. Fans are provided but I wouldn’t book the flat for the height of summer. The request to empty the bins was a bit of an inconvenience. I’m on holiday!

Right in the heart of Lark Lane and adjacent to Sefton Park. A lovely, comfortable and bright apartment with the busyness of life below.

Time for a bit of maintenance.

The property is on Lark Lane which is a great location and well situated for all the restaurants and Sefton Park. It was a spacious flat, with plenty of room for a family. The flat was well set up and had everything you needed to stay in terms of appliances, cutlery, dinnerware, etc. It was easy to get into.

We didn't have enough cleaning provisions for 3 nights (1 dishwasher tab), 1 tea towel, etc. Not the fault of the flat but it is noisy on Lark Lane so if you do have a young family, come with a noise machine for bedtime! This flat is above Co-Op so it was quieter than other properties, but you do hear the staff coming in at 5/6am.

The apartment was really fantastic, so much natural light, very spacious, lovely decor and some lovely touches like board games and books about the history of Liverpool and Lark Lane. Being so close to Sefton Park was wonderful and if you forget any essentials there's a Coop directly underneath, Ben the host was really helpful.

We hadn't read the reviews about the noise outside, so it was quite a shock to be woken at 6.30 by a huge delivery van outside for over an hour and Lark Lane is a very vibrant place so there is lots of hustle and bustle noise throughout the day and into the late evening which took us some adjusting to as all of the rooms face onto the street but if you don't mind this then the place is wonderful. No parking on site and we struggled to get any parking on Lark Lane and ended up driving around other residential streets and Sefton Park - only a few minutes on foot but if you have a lot of stuff to get in to the apartment then you're best to park in the loading space outside the Coop for a few minutes to unload.
