Nelson st (YELL)

Location was OK & it was reasonably priced. Quiet.

Terrible smell from kitchen sink. The stairs to the bedrooms were difficult to get up and down, a bit daunting. There are no windows in the loft rooms, feels quite claustrophobic. Shower wasn't particularly hot either. The sofa in the living area could be doing with a deep clean.

The two upstairs loft rooms were excellent for my two children (both rooms had small double beds & tvs!) The apartment was clean but a bit tired.

* The boiler in the bedroom constantly clicked on and off every 15 mins throughout the night. The boiler isn’t in a cupboard in the room just on the wall so it’s incredibly loud. I have highlighted this to the owner Jason who was apologetic & has offered a discounted rate for our next stay in Largs. * the bed covers etc were too big for the pillows/duvets & continually came undone. * the shower pressure and temperature were very temperamental * only 3 forks in the cutlery section! * the whole place is a bit tired, holes in walls, holes filled in but not painted over.

Location was great. Flat was very clean.

Stairs to upper bedrooms a bit narrow and steep.

Clean, modern & equipped.

The location was ideal within walking distance to all amenities.

The stairs in the apartment although both my sister and I are older and would not be an issue for younger people. They are steep and narrow but there are plenty of hand rails all the way up for you to use.
