You get exactly what you pay for, the property has everything you could need and the guestbook is a lovely little touch. It’s quirky with used books on the bookshelf and a lovely kitchenette area. I saw a review before I stayed about ‘spying hosts’, so I wanted to clarify that the hosts were so lovely. He popped his head out of the door as we entered just to say hello and help us with unlocking the gate as it could be abit fiddly. You do walk past the back of their property to get to where you’re staying, so naturally you can see them through the window, we personally didn’t find this uncomfortable at all. We gave them a smile and a wave as we were leaving and he again popped out to see us off. They have blinds on every window, including their large bifold doors which they offered to put down if we wanted to use the hot tub so that we had some privacy. They couldn’t do enough for us so I’m sure if you were uncomfortable with seeing them as you walked past then that’s something you could ask about. The building you stay in is technically in their back garden, but it’s up 2 levels of steps so you aren’t in direct eye line with their downstairs windows.

There was nothing we really disliked, I might have missed a point on the listing but it would have been good to know that the hot tub is downstairs next to the house. As I said before though the hosts would put down the blinds so not too much of a big deal☺️ The only other thing was the water in the shower, I have seen a couple of reviews about the water not being hot. There is hot water but it’s an electric shower, I personally didn’t know how to change the temperature so I too thought the water was cold to start with. My boyfriend was with me so he showed me how it works but it might be worth asking the hosts the question if you’re unsure as the hot water does work, you just have to know how to work it!

It was really cozy, lovely room, bed was super comfy, bathroom was cozy, kitchen facilities were great, hosts were lovely

Hot water didn’t work in the kitchen and bathroom sink, shower only got lukewarm, may have been that we missed a button for the water but other than that a lovely stay

Good WiFi, comfy bed, very quiet and lots of privacy. Very friendly hosts. Plenty of electric heaters to warm the room up quickly.

Shower wasn’t very powerful

The property is entirely self-catering, but I was happy to make my own breakfast and eat out. It's a nice, basic, comfortable, value-for-money property.

The property was fine - it's relatively high up, which made it an effort to get to on my bike, but that was my choice, and didn't make a major difference to me.

Good location, very close to the beach.

Lovely little place. Hosts are really welcoming and helpful. And the bed! Omg! Soooo comfy! I definitely recommend staying there. Will be back soon for sure.
