The kids loved the bunk beds. They want to come again.

This was the best hotel ever for a family with young kids. The play areas were a great way to meet other families. The location is FANTASTIC! A beautiful, safe neighbourhood with transit at your doorsteps to all the best spots! Friendly staff and easy check in process.

Appreciated the free transfer to the property, our suitcase also got delivered to the wrong address and they collected it and delivered it to our location free of charge saving us a big hassle. The hotel is great for families with play spaces to keep the children entertained throughout for a bit of downtime between exploring

Unfortunately by the time we booked only the "Sea" rooms were left which were quite small for a family of four with strollers and suitcases. Although, I believe these are the smallest rooms and others are available if you book earlier than we did!

Themed rooms and bunk beds were a great hit with the kids, and kid-centred lobbies with slides, a bouldering wall and mini-library, and an interactive projection wall kept them entertained all along! The location was also great, with 3min walk to a bus stop and 7 min walk to a subway station. Having a kitchen in the room was amazing for cooking breakfasts and heating dinners!

Due to virtually no corridor or entrance space in the room, we could hear every noise in the lobby, which was sometimes a bother early in the morning.

The location is wonderful, situated in a quiet residential area close to several small restaurants and cafes. The main Kyoto metro line is less than five minutes away on foot. The rooms are probably ideal for small families with very young children (under 10). We booked two rooms to accommodate our five children. The kids loved them, especially the themed beds. Appliances and showers all worked well, as did temperature control. Wifi was excellent.

Check-in was a little rough; the reception desk is a ten-minute walk after exiting Kyoto train station, located inside a narrow office building with no ramp leading up to it. So if you have a lot of luggage or family members, you almost certainly must leave them on the sidewalk while you take care of check-in. Also, they had a highly detailed online-pre-checkin procedure, which I used; but I still had to spend time re-verifying all our passport details (including the children) after arriving. Once you check-in, there is no more service on a daily basis. No room-cleaning, trash-pickup (but this is as advertised). The ground floor has a projected game on one wall that constantly makes noise - this is something that could disturb anyone staying in the room on that floor.
