2 Bed Property, sleeps 5, free parking, near city centre

I was very disappointed with our stay. This property has potential but the care for it and its renters are sorely lacking. Positives: Hot water Close to bus stops Nice walking trails across the way to run or stroll Dislikes: -Dirty. Not cleaned well at all. There was a distinct smell when we walked in and we didn’t discover until the last day it was probably due to garlic left in one of the cabinets. Carpets were stained and did not give a good impression from the start. Kitchen was dirty, from silverware tray, sticky cabinets, cooking utensils dirty. Flip flops found in drawer and shampoo, bathroom items found in medicine cabinet. No dishwashing pods provided so we had to hand wash everything -No electrical outlet in bathroom so difficult for women to do hair. -I asked ahead if there was an iron. I got a quick response that there was but it was in a musty under the stairs cabinet. I would never use the ironing board that was in there. We also saw a full vacuum and towels under there that I pray were not used. -2 bowls provided for 5 people. -coffee tables were very wobbly so not reliable even for drinks but definitely not to put your feet up. -water in fridge leaked every time you opened the door -there is a backyard available which is nice but no furniture or anywhere to sit to enjoy it -not a good value. I booked months before and could’ve chosen other properties so it makes me ill to think of how much money I spent when I could’ve chosen something else. I’m willing to pay more for a fantastic place but this put a big damper on our trip -not close to attractions. Despite what the reviews said, it’s 30 minutes either by foot or bus to get to main attractions.

It was a great property, clean well spacious close to the city centre and the host was responded quickly. Would recommend to anyone
