De ligging van het hotel, dichtbij van alles, goed centraal, de aankleding van hotel was mooi met veel houtsnijwerk etc.

De rumoer van de zeer dichtbij gelegen barretjes. Ik zag reviews dat er geen herrie overlast was, dat zal dan alleen aan voorkant van hotel zijn. Wij hadden een kamer aan de zijkant en hadden tot 05.00 serieuze overlast van de verschillende muziek bronnen. Dat was echt een tegenvaller. Oordoppen mee! Het personeel was vriendelijk maar vergat een paar keer iets te doen wat men wel toegezegd had. (bv vroeg vertrek en lag er geen ontbijtpakket klaar, toiletrol aanvullen vergeten, er werd alleen gewerkt als de baas in de buurt was)

I loved the location! You can walk everywhere, and all the main attractions are just a short ride away—whether by tuk-tuk or car. The staff truly stands out. They are on another level—polite, helpful, kind, and consistently exceptional throughout the stay. The breakfast buffet was good and just what you need to start the day before heading out to explore. Overall, a great experience with unbeatable convenience and outstanding service. I would definitely recommend it if you're mainly looking for a comfortable place to sleep and spend your days out exploring the city.

The room itself needs significant improvements. It felt quite old, and the heavy wood décor made it noticeably noisy. Since it’s so close to Pub Street, you can hear music from the clubs all night, as well as people walking through the hallway. Some details also affected the comfort: the linens had small tears, the ironing board was very old, and the bathtub is unusually high, which feels unsafe and slippery. Housekeeping was just okay—used cups were not removed, and on different days there was no hand soap or toilet paper. It’s difficult to leave a negative review because the staff truly does everything they can to make your stay pleasant. But the room I stayed in did not match the photos online, and that discrepancy makes a big difference. Overall, a great experience in terms of service and convenience, but I would recommend it mainly if you just need a place to sleep and plan to spend most of your time out enjoying the city.
