A Casa Di Giordy B&B

We appreciated the host for her kindness, the welcome, and the travel advice provided. At Giordi one is in a real B&B which includes a real breakfast and a human interaction with the host and eventually other guests.

Although in great shape, the B&B would benefit from deeper routine renovation to keep it modern.

Assunta and Rosario are fantastic hosts. From the moment of arrival at their beautiful B&B we felt welcomed and appreciated 💗 Our room and bathroom were pristine, with well thought out amenities and decor. Fresh linens and towels daily, a beautiful balcony view and lots of love ❤️ Breakfast as many have stated was beautifully made by Assunta herself with homemade cakes, juices, cereals and yogurts and the most amazing coffee and cappuccinos each morning. Her own Pasticciotto cake was amazing, and my hubby got her recipe which I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Also lovely lemon pound cake, an apple cake which was also delicious, seriously need to go on a diet now haha. She even sent us on our way with a sampling of them all😍 Rosario entertained us with their travels across the country and North America. It was really like visiting our cousins in Italy while we were there, we felt like family . I will cherish these lovely times, and hope we can return to their little piece of heaven in Castro.

Ho trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole in questa splendida struttura a Castro. Fin dal nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con grande cordialità e disponibilità: Assunta é sempre sempre attenta, gentile e pronta a soddisfare ogni nostra esigenza. La struttura è curata nei minimi dettagli, pulita, accogliente e ben organizzata. La posizione è perfetta: tranquilla ma allo stesso tempo vicina al centro e alle meravigliose calette del litorale. Ogni mattina ci svegliavamo con una vista mozzafiato e la colazione era preparata direttamente da assunta ed era ricca, varia e con prodotti di qualità. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chiunque voglia godersi un soggiorno rilassante e confortevole a Castro. Torneremo sicuramente!

Ho trascorso una notte tra sabato e domenica con la mia compagna presso a Casa di Giordy a Castro e non posso che parlarne benissimo. L’accoglienza è stata calorosa, l’ambiente curato nei minimi dettagli e la pulizia impeccabile. Una menzione speciale va sicuramente alla colazione, vera coccola del mattino: il buffet è ricco, vario e soprattutto fatto in casa. Le torte preparate dalla proprietaria sono una più buona dell’altra – si sente tutto l’amore e la passione che mette nel cucinare! La posizione del B&B è comoda per esplorare Castro e le meraviglie del Salento, ma è il calore umano e l’atmosfera familiare che rendono questo posto speciale. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca tranquillità, autenticità e una colazione da sogno!
