Hazelmere House

There is a large step outside the door which, oddly, isn’t very visible in rainy weather or at dusk. It needs edging in something bright. My nephew fell off it and my mother fell up it.

House was very warm with an abundance of hot water. Superb views. Spacious. Dressing room and utility room were very useful. Kitchen was well equipped. We’ll appointed bathrooms. The host kept us well informed regarding arrival procedures.

Sofas were sagging. Instructions for recycling were unclear. Sign on the gate could be more noticeable, it was tricky to spot in the dark.

Beautiful quiet location with fabulous views. Spacious.

Patio doors not secure, hard to open and lock. Balcony door needs attention especially. Bed linen although smelt clean had stains and some hairs on. Sofa needed a clean. Quooker tap is loose in kitchen and needs attention, quite dangerous.

Drain across drive! Too far to walk to beach and back unfortunately. Noisy water system

what’s not to like!! the property is spacious, has all the comforts and conveniences of home, it is clean and very comfortable. the layout is fantastic for a large family so we could cook, dine, watch tv or play games and be together. the location is fabulous, great views and very convenient.

the early check out time was difficult to achieve!

The house was in an excellent location with great views and seating areas outside although being November we did not use them much! Generally a very nice house although showing signs of needing a bit of TLC in places! Generally very comfortable. Good TV/internet.

There were a number of lights not working, shared bathroom seemed to have no hot water to shower although other showers were ok. No instruction booklets for cooker although we worked it out. No kitchen caddy for waste food, No information about bins for recycling glass, cardboard etc. The drive needs fence along very steep drop! Perhaps a few games, books etc. would be good for evenings. We brought some of our own but many houses have good stocks to keep families busy for TV free evenings.
